Parking Sign Decoder is designed as a local-first driving utility. Version 1 does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data.
We do not collect personal information through the app.
The app does not require an account. The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, payment card details, vehicle registration details, or social media credentials.
If the app lets you build sign stacks, save parking spots, or enter notes, that content is intended to stay on your device. Excelsior Creative does not receive or store that content in version 1. The dispute-evidence photo shot list is a reminder checklist only; any photos you take stay in your device's own camera and photo apps, and Parking Sign Decoder does not access or upload them.
Version 1 does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking, device fingerprinting, or data broker sharing.
Apple may provide App Store purchase, crash, and diagnostic information to developers under Apple's own platform terms and user settings. Parking Sign Decoder does not add its own analytics collection on top of that.
Parking Sign Decoder is an informational checklist utility. It does not guarantee that parking is legal, does not guarantee you will avoid tickets or towing, does not interpret municipal law, and does not provide legal advice. Parking rules vary by municipality and can change with temporary signage; posted signs and local law always control. Use the app to make a more informed decision, and verify the posted signs in person.
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
If future versions add accounts, analytics, cloud sync, photo/OCR decoding, AI interpretation, location services, city rule packs, in-app purchases, or other data handling, this policy and the App Store privacy answers must be updated before release.
