Kids Screen Reset is designed as a local-first parenting utility for parents and caregivers. Version 1 does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data — from parents or from children.
We do not collect personal information through the app.
The app does not require an account. The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, payment card details, or social media credentials. It never asks for a child's name, photo, birthday, or any other information about a child.
If the app lets you save favorite scripts, activity cards, routine packs, or filter preferences (such as an age band), that content is intended to stay on your device. Excelsior Creative does not receive or store that content in version 1. Age bands are anonymous content filters chosen by the parent and are never linked to an identified child or transmitted anywhere.
Version 1 does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking, device fingerprinting, or data broker sharing. The app contains no ads.
Apple may provide App Store download, crash, and diagnostic information to developers under Apple's own platform terms and user settings. Kids Screen Reset does not add its own analytics collection on top of that.
Kids Screen Reset provides practical transition scripts, a countdown timer, and offline activity ideas. It is not a parental-control or monitoring tool, and it does not provide medical, psychological, developmental, or behavioral-health advice, and it makes no promises about changing any child's behavior. For concerns about a child's development or behavior, consult a qualified professional.
Kids Screen Reset is a parent-facing utility and is not directed to children under 13. The app is designed to be operated by adults, and we do not knowingly collect data from children — or from anyone else. Because the app collects no data at all, no child data can be collected, stored, or shared.
If future versions add accounts, analytics, cloud sync, AI script generation, in-app purchases, or other data handling, this policy and the App Store privacy answers must be updated before release. Ads and child-targeted monetization are permanently off the table.
